The Kat Country Jam is a concert that is put on twice a year by the Charlotte radio station WKKT, 96.9 The Kat. In 2011 a logo was developed for a more consistent branding approach from year to year.
The main logo and branding stay essentially the same from event to event, and align with the overall branding of 96.9 The Kat. The Kat Jam always draws a huge crowd, and routinely packs out The Fillmore Charlotte.
For each show a specific look is developed for posters, event worker lanyards, promotional t-shirts, online display ads, and in-venue television screens.

There are screens throughout the Fillmore Charlotte where the event is held, and a motion graphics loop plays on repeat featuring the artists and sponsors for each specific Kat Jam event. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Scott Clark Toyota are always featured sponsors and receive prominence on all promotional assets.

This is a short “sizzle reel” type recap of the fall 2014 Kat Country Jam. It is meant to be used as a promotional tool to create excitement for future concerts, particularly to potential new sponsorship partners. The motion graphics and feel of the video are based on the poster and branding design for this Kat Jam iteration, which can be seen at the end of the video.
